Fine crafted box urns of various woods. Each is accessed and seals via a removable bottom panel. Currently only adult urns are availble, with more box urn styles and sizes suitable for children and pets soon to follow.
Unique turned urns of various woods and shapes. Some are large enough for adults, while others are better suited for children or pets.
Natural or finished edge cutting boards, charcuterie boards
and/or vegetable trays.

This category is hard to define other than to say the pieces are meant to be wall hung works of art.
Hand crafted ornaments of multiple woods. No two are the same. A great addition to any Christmas tree, or would look good year round when displayed in an ornament stand.
Several pieces are featured here, some of which are not available for purchase. However, unless otherwise noted I would be happy to discuss taking an order on any of my pieces.
All hollow forms are produced as works of art. If a piece is intended to be wall hung, it will be noted in the product description.
This category contains bowls whose primary purpose is as a piece of art. They are not intended to be utility items.
These turned boxes are all meant to be used. Ideally every one will stand the test of time to become a keepsake which gets passed down from generation to generation.

About Shadetree Woodworking
Shadetree Woodworking is a one man operation featuring the craft work of Vince Wilson. While his primary medium is wood, he also utilizes metal, glass, and stone in his pieces.
Over the last few years Vince has focused on producing turnings, but he also enjoys making other items outside the scope of turning, such as furniture, cutting boards, and boxes.
No matter the type of item, everything produced is made with strong attention to craftsmanship. Certainly there are some delicate pieces (especially in the Stemware category ), but on the whole a majority of his work is meant to be touched. In other words, one of the goals of each piece is that the viewer should feel welcomed and invited to feel and/or handle it.
Please see the Gallery page of this website for some pieces not seen on the Shop pages. Most of the Gallery pieces are either for personal use or past items which have been sold or gifted to either friends or family.
